1. About Memzle

Memzle is a vocabulary learning application that uses the keyword mnemonic method — original memory bridges, cartoon illustrations, and audio — to help users learn vocabulary in multiple languages. Memzle is operated by Erol Connect, based in the Netherlands.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Memzle. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Do not share your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately at support@memzle.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Memzle offers a free tier and a Pro subscription. The Pro subscription unlocks all vocabulary categories, mnemonics, cartoons, and audio.

• Free trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
• Pricing: Pro Monthly at $9.99/month or Pro Yearly at $59.99/year. Prices may vary by region.
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play. Payment is charged to your store account upon confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancellation: You can cancel at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

5. Intellectual Property

All content in Memzle — including but not limited to the mnemonic bridge system, memory stories, cartoon illustrations, audio recordings, app design, and user interface — is the original creative work of Memzle and is protected by copyright law.

The keyword mnemonic method as implemented in Memzle, including the specific bridge words, story sentences, and illustration concepts created for each vocabulary item, constitutes original expression protected under applicable intellectual property law. This content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or used to create derivative works without prior written permission.

Memzle's method of teaching vocabulary through original mnemonic bridges is independently developed and does not reproduce, copy, or infringe upon the content, methods, or intellectual property of any third-party language learning service, including but not limited to Duolingo, Memrise, WaniKani, Rosetta Stone, Babbel, or any other company. Any similarities in general educational approach reflect common pedagogical techniques that are not protectable by intellectual property law.

You may not scrape, copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content from Memzle for commercial purposes.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app
• Use automated tools to scrape or copy app content
• Circumvent subscription requirements or access Pro features without a valid subscription
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate other users or misrepresent your identity

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Memzle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be available at all times, error-free, or that learning outcomes will meet your expectations. Language learning results depend on consistent personal effort and engagement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Erol Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use Memzle. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Memzle shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your country of residence.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Memzle after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
